Troy, MI - October 28, 2009 - The 2010 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) at Cobo Center, Detroit, is nearly 60 days away but journalists can start the process to get credentials Sunday, Nov. 1. Journalists can register by going to www.naias.com and complete the form found at www.naias.com/media/credentials/registration.aspx# (For any questions with the site or process, please contact the Media Credentials Department at 248-283-5125 or email media2010@dada.org.)

Media credentials are required for entry to the 2010 NAIAS, one of the world's premier automotive events, by qualified journalists. It is important to note all persons entering the show floor with credentials during the press preview and public days will be required to present additional identification (e.g., valid driver's license or passport) for validation. To qualify for media credentials, applicants must be working print, broadcast or social-based/website media. The 2010 NAIAS credentials are not transferable.

NAIAS 2010, with input from exhibitors and key media, will schedule press conferences for two days starting on Monday, January 11 through Tuesday, January 12, accommodating 25-plus press conferences filled with reveals and news.

Entering its 22nd year as an international event, the North American International Auto Show is among the most prestigious auto shows in the world and is one of the largest media events in North America.
