Entering its final day, the 2011 North American International
Auto Show (NAIAS) continues to improve upon last year's numbers by
drawing in car and truck enthusiasts researching vehicles they may
want to own in the near future. Yesterday's attendance at NAIAS,
one the world's premier events, was 107,620, surpassing Saturday's
attendance in 2010, which was 105,118.

Friday's attendance at the 2011 North American International
Auto Show (NAIAS) at Cobo Center in Detroit, Mich., broke the
attendance record set back in 1993. Yesterday, more than 75,320
people attended the NAIAS, breaking 1993's Friday record of 74,900.
In 2010, the Friday attendance figure was 69,102.

attendance figures for a third consecutive day over the 2010 show.
Attendance yesterday, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, was nearly
65,000. To date, attendance overall is up nearly 20,000 over 2010

continues to exceed attendance figures for the second consecutive
day over the 2010 show. Attendance was up nearly six percent for
the first two Public Show days. Most recently, attendance on
Sunday, Jan. 16 was more than 99,000, reflecting a nearly three
percent increase over 2010. On the first public day, Saturday, Jan.
15, attendance was nearly 87,000, an increase of approximately 3.5
percent.
