2010 NAIAS to Feature Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA) “Automotive Outlook” Conference

Detroit, MI - December 23, 2009 - After a challenging year, auto industry enthusiasts from around the world await the 2010 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit to see what's coming next.   The Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA) will hold its 2010 Automotive Outlook Conference and examine what the industry should look for in terms of products and technologies, a supplier forecast and how key economic indicators will affect the industry.

The 2010 SAA Automotive Outlook Conference will take place on the eve of NAIAS press days, Sunday, January 10, 2010, at Cobo Center. The event will begin at 4 p.m. and include a networking reception and dinner.

Keynoting the event will be Bob Lutz, GM's Global Marketing Chief. Also on the agenda will be renowned journalist and analyst John McElroy, host of Autoline Detroit; Neil De Koker, president of the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA); John Casesa, managing partner, Casesa Shapiro Group, LLC; and Justin Mirro, managing director, Moelis & Company.

"Everyone is looking for direction in the coming year in our global and local economy. We are pleased to see so many have concluded that NAIAS is the place to find the compass," said Doug Fox, chairman, 2010 NAIAS.  "Our show serves as a backdrop for such events and is further evidence of our reach. With new technologies to be featured at the NAIAS, and the direction discussed by automakers, the global media and industry masses on hand, this is the place to be in January to discover what the rest of the year may bring."
