Automotive Education Day began at the 2005 North American International Auto Show as an opportunity for schools to participate in a positive and valuable offsite educational experience.

The 6th annual Automotive Education Day welcomes school groups in grades 9-12 and college students to explore their career pathway opportunities in the automotive industry at the North American International Auto Show 2010 at Cobo Center on Wednesday, January 20.

Throughout the day students will meet with industry specialists, learn about career paths in all automotive fields, and gain insight into the latest technology, engineering, automotive design and environmental concerns.

The NAIAS is offering bus grants in the amount of $100 to the schools that register the first 100 buses for AED. The grants are provided by State Farm Insurance and the Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) Education Foundation. To become an eligible candidate for this award, your school must be registered, but you do not have to make a payment at this time. Grants will be awarded on a first come, first served basis, as the registration forms are received.
